We popped in for a visit to Gramps and Nan this past weekend (previous posts pics from there as well)Also got a call from my cousin Jeff who's in BC right now so here's an additional pic of Nan multitasking (at my Mom's request)
It's been a *long* week both at home and away from home. being back at work is demanding and, of course, Josee being on her own at home for a good portion of the time is as well.
Joshua is still "growth spurting" resulting in the 3 feedings from 10pm-6am bumping up to 4 feedings.
Josee, being concerned about me getting a good night's sleep, consequently took 3 feedings in a row at 1am, 3am and 5am the other day which just sucked her dry. Last night, however, went *much* better. It can be a little confusing/frustrating when you think you've got a pattern down cold and then Joshua's rapid progression turns the plan on it's ear.
However our spin on it is that it simply means he's developing quickly and strongly. And we also expected the first week I was back would challenge a bit and will likely switch to alternating shifts for feeding over the evenings from now on.
Looking forward to a weekend to be spent as a family and hope to maybe sneak some visits in here and there!
