Oh what a night!

We decided that with the big three month date coming up, it was time to start the transition from sleeping in our bedroom in his bassinet to Joshua sleeping in his own room.
We can only imagine this photos *may* have been a reflection on the events that transpired since he slept soundly..no wait..soundlessly from 10pm-3am..a new record for the LBM in the evening.
Josee wound up giving him a bottle and then he followed it up with a 3:30am-7:30am run and when I went to greet him for my shift (which really was more of a start of the day shift since we rarely go back to bed after 7am anymore) I was greeted with grins and coos.
9 whopping hours solid sleep for the first time alone in his room. Not too shabby at all!
The transition from Zooper to crib will happen tonight likely after the first overnight feeding shift as we don't want to rush him into it too hard and there is a BIG difference in size (though we'll use some rolled up blankets to shrink it down a bit). That's also kinda a good thing because he's starting to dangle out of the Zooper quite a bit now and the blankets we've lined it with often wind up over his head. One morning I literally walked over to feed him and a blanket was lightly draped over his head..down to his neck with him lightly snoring away (oh yes, there is very slight snoring with the LBM. Sorry Joshua's future wife..my bad!)
We got a bunch more pictures printed through Walmart's online store today. We've realized we need to do so WAY more often as it took Josee pretty much the bulk of the morning to sort through ones she wanted, we ordered 65 prints and there was still about 200 more pictures to go through. Ah the wonderful world of digital!
The ambition tomorrow is to go downtown during the day with Poppa, Grandma, Aunt Vicki, Uncle Jean and cousins Tiana and Mitchell. Nothing too hairy, just wander around and see what fun we can find. May also try and hook up with Tom & Brian in our transition from downtown and their transition to for a pint on a patio somewhere.

Weekend seems like it's gonna be nice and comfortable!
Hope everyone has a chance to get out and enjoy it!

Mark
