It feels like it has been a long time since we have posted on the blog but really, it has just been one long weekend since Mark's post!
These pictures were taken earlier today when Joshua took a minute in the "big chair" to read some of his garage books.
The three of us had a very nice Father's day weekend, though as usual, it was busy and too short for our taste. The weather stayed beautiful on Sunday while the three of us enjoyed a wonderful family lunch with the May/Sisson/Bisson/Curry gang. Although we forgot our camera, I am really hoping to get some photos from others who got some shots of the 6 kids all playing in a small blow-up pool. Joshua was in all his glory! On our way home, the heaven's opened up and we got the numerous big storms the weather man had been promising (even with hail!). We finished up the day with a nice dinner with my dad, Gale and my brother and his family. Joshua seemed to really like showing off his toys to his cousins and both Sam and Ben seemed thrilled will all the new stuff to explore.
Joshua has yet another tooth; his left molar has pushed through (we are still waiting for those bottom ones though). This brings the count to 10 teeth!
New things we have noticed (other than the tooth) these days include Joshua walking backwards, climbing DOWN stairs (thanks Jenna!), Joshua getting much more adept to climb everything and anything, showing us where his head is, blowing a kiss to me in the morning, petting Shadow (nicely), saying "oh, oh" when he drops something, and baa-ing like a sheep. Here is a video capturing Joshua climbing all too confidently...

To add to the fact that he does go down stairs, I will post the video I took of him doing just so this week. ox J
Hopefully be awhile before he decides he can climb over the back of the chair too... ;)
