Mark and I thought we would share a couple of the pictures that were taken last Saturday at gymnastics class. As you can see, Finley is a natural monkey and loved to swing on the rope and climb the bars. Joshua, on the other hand, seemed to enjoy the trampoline and the tunnel - no big surprises there (sorry it's a little out of focus)!
The class is 45 minutes long and began with some floor exercises that included the kids running around in a circle and freezing in place. From there, we switched to climbing, jumping, swinging and roiling on a round cylinder. then, it was off to the tunnels, balance beams and bars (neither Joshua nor Finley seemed impressed with swinging on the bars / hoops by themselves). Finally, the class ended on the trampolines - where the kids were encouraged to stand and jump on the tramps all by themselves (without the parent's help). The J-man was more partial to sprinting accross with bounding strides.
As you can see from the picture below, by the time the 45 minutes are over and it is time for a stamp; Joshua was pretty beat!

The rest of our weekend was fantastic. We were able to enjoy the weather outdoors and have some great, quality time with our little family. The 2 concerts were great (Watchmen and Blue Man Group) and the party for G-G Helen was lot of fun and Joshua was a huge hit with all the friends, family and animals.
Take care,
J
