We all expect it...

we all dread it, we all hope to skip it, but we know it is unavoidable (especially with children in day care and mothers on city buses!). The sniffles, the coughing, the rattling voices, the sinus headaches, the interrupted nights' sleep. It has officially arrived. COLD SEASON...

Joshua has started this season off with a bang (as has everyone else at BND) and he was "nice" enough to share it with me too. Let's just hope this is one of those QUICK colds instead of those yucky lingering ones that seem to stay around for WAY longer than you would ever expect! The good news is, we are starting to teach him how to "blow" and he seems to be keen on trying the new skill out (though not so much with a Kleenex in front of his nose just yet (ewww!))!

BABY NEWS!!!
Our friends Samantha and Jeremy welcomed their first baby, Charlotte Paige into the world at 10:04 p.m. on Monday night. Charlotte made her mom and dad wait for 10 more days past her due date before finally joining them in the outside world Monday night, weighing 7lbs, 4oz! Congrats to the whole family - we look forward to meeting her in person!

I am starting feel better so it is a quickie cold thank god! So Yesterday I giggled when I read your annoucement about your friends new baby as that is the name we are stuck on if it is a girl and we had another choice and low and behold that is your girlfriend's baby's middle name. Too funny.

That chair would really be set off by an ottoman that looks better with no legs...

It just warms my heart when I see this photo of Mark rocking Joshua in the chair we loved and used when both he and Vicki were babies.
We found it when on a quest, filling in time the week Vicki, a preemie, was kept in hospital, searching for "just the right rocking chair". It gave us many hours of comfort and sweet memories.
If only it could tell the stories...(sniff...!)

P.S. So happy Joshua is feeling better.
