Raking leaves is a really fun "job" this year with our new little helper along! Give Joshua a little rake of his own, and he is amused for hours! I am certain that our neighbours will be much happier since this means we will be able to get our raking done much quicker this year than last!
This week has been a bit of a hard one for us. Early in the week, we found out Joshua had contracted pink eye (from where??? Who knows!) which not only meant 1.5 days away from daycare and yet another trip to the doctors - but also means nasty eye drops 4 times a day. Poor little man - he just HATES having to be restrained and then having drops put in his eyes (can you blame him though?). In addition to that, we brought Shadow into the vets because of a sore on the bottom of one of his paws (between the pads). It is healing, but because of a slight topical infection from all the licking, he now has to wear an Elizabethan collar until the cut heals completely. Also, he has a medication that needs to be rubbed on the sore twice a day. Needless to say, he is not too thrilled either! Add to all this, another eye tooth is almost cut and is making things (sleeping, mostly) miserable for Joshua (and us) these past couple of days.Poor guy! I can't WAIT for his 2 year old molars just so all this teething pain can be over with!!!!
Hope everyone is outside enjoying this lovely fall weather!
J
