Madie had her 6 month check up yesterday and was a champ through it! Only seconds of crying during those nasty shots and nothing but smiles and coos for both the doctor and nurse through the rest of the visit! She is sticking to her long and lean physique - still in the 80th percentile for height at 68 cms long, and 45th percentile for weight at 16 pounds 5 ounces. Her head, not surprising, is still in the 90th percentile (44.5 cms) - yikes! Since her last appointment, her head grew 2 cms, she stretched 5 cms and gained 2.6 pounds.

In comparison, this is what was written on the blog about Joshua's 6th month check up (gotta love technology!)

Joshua had his "6 month" check-up yesterday and we have the new numbers to report. His head has grown another 2 cm bringing his head circumference to a whopping 46 cm which puts him in the 80% percentile for his age. He grew 6 cm in length bringing his height to 68 cm and placing him in the 30% percentile. Our LBM now weighs in at 19 lbs and is presently in the 65% percentile - an astounding 3 lbs 6 oz more than at his 4 month check-up!

Glad to see my girl is following in her older brother's footsteps! It is pretty cool to see how they are growing similarly.
