The kid travels like a champ! Besides the fact that Josee and I got turned around by a missed exit everything when great on the drive down and unbelievable great coming back 2 1/2 hours non stop..Joshua slept the whole time!)
Despite the set back on the way down we managed to get down there about 10 minutes into the first period for Game 5. What a game!
Pretty awesome to be watching with my Dad, Jean, my Grandpa and my Grandma in the same room. Josee was just a room down feeding Joshua but heard the screams and quickly turned the TV on so Joshua could watch his team celebrating their birth in the Stanley Cup finals!
AWESOME!The rest of the trip was a blast and lots of fun time spent with the family and extended family!
Here's a couple shots of Josee and Joshua admiring the view from the top of mountain! (kinda dark in the small format but if you cick on them you'll get the nicer large view which is more viewable)

It's so touching for Josee and I how much Joshua's cousins are interested in their little cousin. The term "baby Joshua" takes on a whole new cuteness when uttered by two sets of 3 & 4 year old twins one after another. And Tiana is like a big sister to him. Always watching out for him and interested in what he's doing and just wanting a chance to look at him and talk to him and touch his hand. It's very sweet and warming.
The venue itself was also great.
From our standpoint this trip went far beyond our expectations for time spent with loved ones and seeing our incredible Little Big Man mature and grow. The highlight had to have been him coming with us to the restaurant Sunday night at 7pm, sleeping throughout the meal, us going back to the hotel and decided to leave him in the stroller only to have him not wake until around after 12am at night! 5 hours straight. Unreal! He's really starting to grow up fast. Sounds crazy short of two months in but the development of these little human beings is staggering when you put it perspective.
What a ride!
We'll get some more pics up on facebook soon too!
