Bow down to the almighty Car Seat of KO-edness

Bear witness to the all powerful car seat. Fear it should you plan to stay awake and disturb public places cuz baby..it ain't gonna happen.
I guess really credit should go out to Joshua enjoying the car seat but let us tell ya...this thing works like a charm as far as him relaxing and getting some great rest!
This pic was at the buffet breakfast in Tremblant with tons of hustle and bustle and noise and smells and visuals going on....and lo...he rests!!!
Grandma had to occasionally woo him back to sleep when something may startle (normally other kids excited about homemade waffles!) but otherwise he'd just lull his way back.

SKUNK(s) UPDATE: We got him. Pretty incredible really. Got a humane trap from SPCA late afternoon on rental, set it up around 9pm with a can of sardines as a trap, went to check things out around 11:30pm after feeding Joshua....trapped skunk. Crazy! Why sardines..no idea. Not like they're a readily available source to hunt for skunks in the wild.
Now those astute blog readers may have noticed the ol' "(s)" in the update. How keen and CSI-ish you are my friends. There is suspicion of a skunk accomplice. At the suggestion of the SPCA when they came to pick up Peppy number one, we placed a cardboard cover over the entrance to the den. Next morning..it had shifted away from the entrance indicating..something moved it....crud! However this morning I look out at the hole and there's a CAT..yes a cat..*sitting* on the exact spot the cage (and likely tipped over sardine can) was. A few moments pass and then the cat begins to poke it's head into the skunk hole.
It's all up in the air now but further updates to follow in the exciting Montgomery rd. Attacked Repeatedly by Skunk (or MARS) scandal.

Finally, back on the Joshua front, we put the car seat theory to the test once again on Wednesday (after all the skunk runaround) and went to Stars and Strollers at Coliseum for Spider-man 3. Spectacular new concept where a theatre and area are dedicated to families with babies. Theatre lights are only dimmed, sound turned down and AC not cranked. There's stroller parking, a big change table area just outside the theatre with complimentary supplies and diapers and everyone watches a movie with their baby. Of course, you can't get agitated about some one's baby making a noise because it could just as easily be *your* baby. Kinda a universal understanding of everyone in the theatre there with the same goal (a day out to catch a flick) and concern (to not screw up other peoples goal)
It was a neat, kinda part of a club, feeling that it was fun to share with Josee.
Joshua, however, was in his car seat...so he may as well not even have been there since he sawed logs the whole time with barely a murmur. We've got ourselves a pretty awesome baby when it comes to going out and about!
The weekend will be fairly low key except a visit to Grandad and Grandma Gale tommorow for an early dinner and a possible visit to Auntie Holly's and buddy Parker where Danielle and new doggy roommate Graysee are going to have a playdate.
The neighborhood will never be the same! ;)

Have a great weekend everybody.
Enjoy the milder, but still nice, temperatures!

Mark
