After Mark was done work yesterday, we went out to Manotick to visit with grandma, poppa, Aunt Vicki, mon oncle Jean, Tiana and Mitchell. We brought along the jolly jumper for Joshua to show off his jumping technique and it seemed to be a hit with everyone.
Grandma also had lots of fun chatting and making fun noises for Joshua during some fun one on one time. She even got some of the wonderful chuckle and giggles we've been enjoying lately. It's great to seem him spreading around some of his unique gidiness!"Big cousin" Tiana, as usual, was enthralled with all that is Joshua and was showing him her books and toys and soothing him when he was fussing in the swing. It is so great to have such a helper around (not to mention SUPER cute!).
I guess the evening of jumping and socializing did Joshua in because he was in bed by 8:15 last night! After waking up with his dad at 5am and having a little quality father and son time, Joshua was out for another 1.5 hour nap. The day continued like this with little spurts of activity and socializing sandwiched between long naps while Mark and I did some shopping and went out for lunch. Hopefully all the napping today doesn't mess up his sleeping tonight! ;-) I'll keep you posted on how that goes!Have a great night everyone,
Josee

Lovely photos. We totally delighted in our "Joshua" interlude Friday afternoon.
Had a nice afternoon at the Almonte "Celtfest" today. Must get everyone to it next year. The children, especially would love the lively music, (including fiddles, a harp, spoons and several dobros, Josee!)
