Joshua is now sitting on his own for about 30 second stints when we prop him in the sitting position. It is like he looks at us like he is thinking "it is about time you guys figured that out!" And then "kerplunk"... he falls down to the side with a big smile. It is a great game for everyone involved.
Joshua had another sleepy day today - personally, I think this was a smart idea since why would anyone want to do anything but sleep their way through such a humid, rainy and dreary day??? But, he was awake for a nice lunch with Grandma and Poppa. They are off to meet their good friends Terry and Judy O'Connor out west for a couple of weeks and we wanted to make sure to see them before they headed out. Since I am certain they will be checking the blog tomorrow - Frank & Penny - remember to check out The Three Sisters (mountains) in Canmore (Right side of the highway when driving to
Calgary from Banff) and Mount Yamnuska in Seebee (Left side of the highway when driving to Calgary from Banff) - two of my most favorite places ever. Don't forget to bring an empty water bottle with you when you go to the icefields (to enjoy the cold glacier water). And have a wonderful time in one of the most beautiful areas in Canada. Oh and by yourselves a Kokanee - they taste better there. ;-)We are off to my mom's place for a lunch tomorrow to celebrate a whole whack of things one of which is Mark's new position at Nokia. Yes, Mark got promoted to a second level technician and starts the new job and a new shift this coming week - congrats dad! The new shift will be an adjustment for us (4 10 hour shifts from 1-11pm Wednesday through Saturday) but Joshua and I are excited that this means a whole extra day we get to spend with him! Tomorrow is also my sister-in-law's due date so everyone start thinking labor thoughts and hopefully she doesn't have to wait much longer!
Have a great night everyone!
Josee
