To the beat of his own drum

Joshua has discovered the wonderful noises that pots and pans can make! He hits each of the different pieces carefully and then looks at you in awe as if to say "did I make that sound?". It is so neat to see a child discover things for the very first time. All the things we as adults take for granted as cause and effect is all so exciting for their little minds.

Something else new with Joshua - he has figured out how to crawl backwards now! In all honesty, he seems to be using his arms to push himself backwards, but hey, it is a start!

.
Let the bets begin as to when he will first crawl (forwards)!

Since we did not post anything yesterday we must say Happy Birthday to "Grandma" (Mom/Penny)! We miss you and can't wait to see you on Friday and to hear all the stories from your "big 0" birthdays trip!

After Mark was done work tonight (he was training again), we met up and with to a Toy Sale at Lansdowne Park. We were hoping to get a bunch of Christmas shopping done there as the prices promised to be discounted and very worthwhile. We managed to find a bunch of small stuff although most of it will probably be put aside for his birthday (most things were aimed at kids 1 year and up).

So far, we don't have any plans made for tomorrow. I am hoping the day is a little less dreary in comparison to today so that we can go do some stuff outside!

Have a good night,
Josee
