Joshua's new favorite toy seems to be OUR telephone. Even though he has 2 of his own (of the toy version), when we are speaking on the phone and he is within its grasp, he is reaching with such determination to see what all the fuss is about. This picture was taken this morning while Joshua was listening to Grandma's cool stories. When we tried to take the phone away to continue our conversation, this was the result:
After his phone call, Joshua got to visit with Grandma in person this afternoon when he and I met up with her to get some "dad" Christmas shopping done. I guess Grandma didn't tell him on the phone she would be seeing him later because he seemed pretty thrilled to see her when we arrived at our meeting place!We are all hoping to have a better night's sleep tonight as Joshua is back into repeated night wakings with teething pain from his upper gums. It is so hard to sit by and know you can only comfort him and can't take the pain away. I am sure that Tempra only does so much and otherwise, he just needs to cope. Poor little guy - where is that magic wand mother's are always talking about when you need it?
