Head --> Butt (you'll groan about it later)

So Joshua has finally found the forward gears for crawling and is rapidly shifting faster and faster towards overdrive.
Here's a video of one of the (in his view) fun results of his forward momentum...

Truly the most fitting example of the word "headbutt" ever documented.
You'd think this would have the opposite effect of Shadow warming up more to Joshua but to be honest I think Shadow has gained a new respect for the LBM. Kinda views him as more of a person with a bit more potential. Even to the point where he'll often drop the ball to Joshua's hands. Of course I'm convinced Shadow would drop a ball into a plant's appendages if all people nearby refused to play!
The results of the crawling and shifting from sitting to crawl also resulted in his first face plant..and on the hardwood floor too, of course. However it really is true what they say about this age as some quick Momma snuggling and calming words had him calmed in no time. Though it still does tug at the chest beater to wipe away those tiny tears.
I'll sign off with on of Josee's artsy photos (we like to steal each others)I dig the fact that Shadow kinda stole the frame from Joshua a bit and the contrasting focuses. The furguy has still got some cute game to be sure. Though Joshua is the primary focus of the blog so here's one more...
Another added bonus of crawling...his favourite "hills" to climb are his Dadda and Momma which can result if some very funny wrestling snuggling fests. Pretty darn hard to resist this face when it is crawling into your lap let me tell ya!
There's some pretty good times in the Sisson household these days.

Were one lucky family.
A Proud Dad
