Walking strong

It is funny to see Joshua use his walking toy because he truly does look like a little old man using a walker for support. But boy has he ever figured out how to motor using it!

This video is from when he was just starting to get the hang of things - Now, he is a LOT quicker... and also gets a lot more frustrated when he hits a wall and can't walk any further (until we turn him around, that is).

Sorry it has been so long since we have posted. The Sisson family has been kept quite busy this past week. In a quick list format this is our week in a nutshell:

Sunday - birthday brunch and swim at the pool with Mark's parents, Jeff, Andrea and ZORK - and then Mark is off to my brother's to watch the Pats win their way into the Super Bowl
Monday - Mark's 33rd birthday; we go out for lunch and some sale shopping for winter stuff for next year.
Tuesday - Mark, Joshua and I meet our friend Brian at the Wild Wings to watch the Sens game (Joshua and I left early).
Wednesday - Joshua hangs out with Mamie while Shadow and I go do some agility, in the evening I go out for a girls night with my friend Sam who was in town for work.

Mark has taken this week off of work in order for us to do some serious sleep "training" to be able to get Joshua sleeping through the night without the help of a bottle. Unfortunately, Joshua started a cold at the beginning of the week so our plan has had to be a bit altered while we await the cold to get better. So far, we have progress though - Mark has taken the night wake ups the past 2 nights and although we have continued to give him his night time bottle (since he is not eating as much during the day because he is all congested), he was able to give him his bottle, calm him for a few minutes and then set him into the crib to put himself to bed. Normally, we would hear some noise from his room for a couple minutes and then nothing but the silence of sleep. Our little boy is growing up!

I promise to be a bit more diligent with posts - at least for the next little while! ;-)

Have a good day,
J

Vicki "nailed" my thought exactly! What a glint of power in the boy's eye!
(The term "ram speed" gives me a "Ben Hur" flashback!I didn't realize that your generation would know this expression...or has it been used in more recent movies? "Pirates", perhaps?)
