Watch out Tiana, Mitchell, and ZORK - your cousin's mastering his skills in prep for the first cousin's race!Second - Joshua and his beloved apple treat...
Doesn't he look a bit too old in this shot? Although to me, it ages him well beyond his 16 months, I love it. He has this thing about apples - he loves them... and anything round and edible is an "apple" to him (so, plums, nectarines, peaches...) - but he loves them all and will walk around with it like it is another blankie. At least it is an apple and not a Popsicle! ;-)
Third - big feet...
Love this shot. Our son has a major foot fetish. And LOVES shoes. He will bring us ours at times when we aren't expecting it drop them in front of us with an abrupt "shoes" (which is quickly followed by a "hat" - the next thing he usually gets after having his shoes put on). side bar - to those nurses that read the blog - yes, that is a tempra bottle in his hands - but it was empty... no need to worry that we let our son "play" with medicines ;-)
Fourth - THIS WAY!
This one was taken on one of our dog walks this past week. This one was with Grandma and Poppa at Bruce Pitt. I think this one truly shows my son's daring independence. He is running at mach Joshua speed towards where the "puppies" are playing (and away from us).
And finally - Silly Grandma!
About halfway through our walk we let the Jman out of his stroller to stretch his legs a bit and he was having a blast racing after Grandma through the trails. Not once did he let go of his very special tractor though (which we could not help but buy for him at Valleyview earlier in the week). As you can see - he is still our little heart breaker (I know I am biased but how can you resist that smile... seriously????)
Reluctantly, it is back to work for the parents today and back to daycare (not reluctantly at all, I hear) for Joshua.
Normalcy has been restored!
Take care, J

Lovely photos. So happy we were able to share some fun with you on your big "vacation week"!
XOX G'ma and Poppa OXO
Gorgeous pictures guys!! And believe me....the younger you introduce a child to video games, the earlier you can count on them beating their father at them! ;)
Take care
Mark will probably have to buy another wheel in a year or two. And how did I miss out on an invitation to Bruce Pit...?
