These pictures were taken on a spectacularly sunny day last weekend. I hope that one day was not our summer! On a trip to Canadian Tire to buy an umbrella clothes line (yay!), Mark decided to get the kids some water fun. A splash pad for Madie, and a slip and slide for Joshua. As you can see, the Jman had a GREAT time. The next day, when it was MUCH colder and Grandma and Poppa were over, Joshua decided he wanted to show them the slide... he changed his mind VERY quickly once he felt the temperature of the water in the hose!

Madie thought it better to watch this from a very safe distance.
Let's hope for warmer weather in the future... although I am certain I will be complaining about the heat and humidity soon enough! ;-)
