My son definitely has his father's tastes in foods. So far, Joshua favorites seem to be peas, creamed corn and mixed veggies (not necessarily together). Tonight, he tried some vanilla yogurt and literally got giddy he liked it so much! His first try and he ate almost half the container in one sitting! Other than the yogurt, I am NOT partial to any of those foods... but Mark is! As you can see, Joshua has also decided that he really enjoys feeding himself with the spoon (with a little help from us guiding the spoon in the bowl). He actually seems to much prefer this to us feeding him ourselves.
Swimming with April and Emma this morning was lots of fun. Emma shared her cool flotation device with Joshua, and Joshua showed Emma how to "surf" on a flutter board. There was only one other strollercise mom there when we arrived (and then another showed up as we were getting ready to warm up in the hot tub) so I am really glad April was able to join us! The rest of the day was spent at home. Joshua had his regular nice long nap after swimming and then there was some playing and a quick episode of the Wonder Pets (his favorite show!) before we were ready for dinner and the bedtime routine.Good night everyone!
