Shadow has finally found a "use" for Joshua. Although Joshua doesn't exactly "throw" the ball just yet, you can see on the video that he gets the general concept. I am sure it won't take too long before he is throwing it across the room for his pooch!Mark, Joshua, Shadow and I all had a very accomplishing morning today. Shadow was off to the puppy spa (aka the groomers) this morning so after dropping him off, we went for a trip to Toys R Us to look at some umbrella-type strollers and to Best Buy to make some Christmas exchanges. Joshua was wonderful at Toys R Us - even having a little "snuggle time" with the employee helping us with our search for a more "mall friendly" set of wheels for the LBM.
This afternoon, we were off to Mamie's as Shadow and I restart our agility training sessions in Manotick in preparation for the start of our 2008 season (which starts in mid-February!). Everyone involved had a great time as usual.
Joshua seems to be going through some sort of growth spurt which is waking him up with a growling stomach at least twice a night. We are hoping this is short lived as we have not been successful at getting him to have more formula during the day (though he is eating a TON more solids than usual!).
We had a doctor's appointment a couple days ago to have a rash which has been on Joshua's legs and arms for the past month. He has now been diagnosed with eczema and is on cortisone cream to help alleviate the itch of this "dry skin rash" and help with any breakouts. This is apparently very common - especially with a parent who has allergies and asthma (sorry kiddo!).
Unofficially, Joshua now weighs 21.5 lbs. This is unofficial only because he was not weighed using the same scale as he normally uses so we can't be exact. Regardless, this confirms that he is certainly growing very well! ;-)
Hope everyone has a good night,
J
