Havin' a ball!

It's very fun to always be re-discovering little things that we take for granted through a child's eyes. And lately..a soccer ball has become a wonderful family entertainment system.
Joshua, Josee, Shadow and I spend alot of time flopping around the floor with the soccer ball and today we decided to try balancing it on his head not thinking much of it. Joshua..though it was awesome!

The LBM is getting more and more interested in interacting with people while he's playing rather than just zoning in. He's also often now wanting to clamber on to you to get a new perspective on the scene which is good fun. It's nice to still have the snuggly times since most the rest of the time is spent clambering around on all fours as FAST as possible.
Today we also stopped in for a quick visit with Gramma Gale and and Granddad so Josee and her Dad could discuss designs for a new coffee table/toy chest that will be a well needed fixture in the living room. Joshua spent much of the time cruising the hard wood floors and I managed to snap off another "coming atcha" shot with the mischievous grin which seems to be becoming a staple. However, the spiffy new shirt from Christmas gives it a nice rugged sophistication!

We're going to keep things fairly low key tomorrow since it was a busy week and weekend where sleep was a little lacking for all four of us. However some great naps for Joshua today and a *very* pleasant bedtime routine which now has some story time worked in bodes well for a more restful night tonight!
