AHHHH!...Joshzilla!!!

In typical boy-ish/B-movie-monster-trashing-a-city fashion Joshua's building interests lie more in the demolition phase than the building phase.

Josee's agility weekend went off without a hitch and she and Shadow had a great time getting back into the swing of things after a pretty long off-season. However she, of course, could not resist getting some snuggles in with her friend Sonia's 7 month old Mathis.
Joshua and I had a great time hanging out just the boys though I had hoped for a possible break in the weather to try and get outside for a tour of the neighborhood. Unfortunately no such break came so we had a fun day inside playing with toys and crawling around the floor and wrestling. He's definitely in a stage of wanting physical interaction of which his favorite is simply trucking over top of you like a speed bump.
Once Momma got home Sunday though he showed how obvious it was that he missed her with bursting grins and giggles and desperate reaching to go back into his mother's arms. Very sweet to watch and, of course, melted Momma's heart that much more.
Momma and Dadda's are very much part of the verbal diarrhea’s that comes tumbling out of his mouth these days as well and yesterday in the car there was some *very* deliberate "Momma" responses when Josee repeated back so it won't be long before these deliberate verbal communication are in full Joshua diatribe to add to the finger pointing and signing (which mainly consists of "more" right now but is slowly being expanded)

Today we meet Poppa, Grandma, Aunty Vicki, Uncle Jean and cousins Tiana and Mitchell for a Family Day lunch and to do some late birthday celebrations. Hopefully it could become a Family Day tradition in the future!
Hope everyone has a good day off or, if working, enjoy the downtime with family and friends

Mark
