mmm frothed milk!

Mark received a cappuccino maker for his birthday this year and the Sisson family has been enjoying lattés and frothed milk a-plenty ever since. As you can see, Joshua is a big fan to. As soon as he sees our drinks, he is immediately pining for our froth so I have begun to make him his own in his favorite Joshua big boy mugs. He will be ready for Starbucks before we know it!Our family has been going through a bit of a roller coaster of "stuff" these past few days.

On the down side, we have been having difficulties with Joshua's sleeping habits (REALLY early wake ups), and then Shadow came up lame on Friday morning for no obvious reason. We spent the next 2 days in and out of vet clinic and have been left with some more than startling findings about Shadow's hips and blood work. This has obviously placed a lot of stress on us since Shadow is "kinda" like our first little guy and we can't help but be worried about him. The saga is not yet finished and I will be bringing him to a specialist tomorrow to get a second opinion from a vet who comes highly recommended by many in the agility community.

On the up side, however, we had some spectacular time with both friends and family over the weekend. We enjoyed a nice brunch with my brother and his clan and my mother to celebrate Mark's and my mother's birthdays, and then met up with good friends Sarah and Ryan for a spectacular night of dinner and music at Café Paradiso on Saturday night while Mamie took care of the papoose. On Sunday afternoon, it was Mark's side of the family's turn for birthday celebrations when we all went for a swim at the Aylmer pool and came back to our house for dinner and cupcakes and fun by all.

I want to send out a great big congrats to fellow-bloggers and friends Heather, Derek and Finley who are expecting baby #2 - their first little boy - in June! Boys are lots of fun... you will love it!
