Splash!

Our main computer had a bit of a bath last Thursday and Mark has been busily trying to get it back since then. We found out (the hard way!) about a burst pipe between the indoors turn off valve and the outside tap while taking shots like these of Joshua playing in the sprinkler... ugggh - NOT fun (especially with the computer directly under the burst pipe! Lucky for us, the motherboard and the keyboard seemed to take the worst of the unexpected shower - making the "fixing" part much less pricey than it could have been!

For the past few weeks, Joshua has been going to swimming classes at Dovercourt to help him "get ready" for his week long stay at Red Pine during the week of August 22-29. Some of you may remember that we went up to the family camp for a day and a night last summer when Grandma, Poppa, Vicki, Jean, Mitchell and Tiana were up for a week's getaway. Mark and I are both so excited to experience the camp for a full week this time! I am CERTAIN Joshua will have so much fun! Anyhow, Joshua is having a great time with his swimming classes and is certainly one of the best kickers in his class! He also has a ton of fun with jumping into the water (where I catch him, of course).

Here is an add on pic from the agility trial we went to last weekend in Kanata. Yes, Joshua decided to adopt Shadow's crate as his own ON his own... very cute!
Cheers,
J

We're very much looking forward to it too! Looks like you'll need to get a second crate. Told ya that cupboard would have been perfect. Isn't there some nonsense about guys and their caves....?

Sorry to hear about all your challenges this week! Glad things are coming under control again.Did you know that we have a similar "crate photo" of 18 month old "Aunt Vicki" and her puppy Sancho from just a few decades ago?
